These snaps were formerly up at AA Roads, but there
wasn't enough room for them
so I adopted them and gave them a new home. Aren't I nice?(no!)
Protocol for this page is to click the links
and yr snap opens in a new window.

Dakota State Highway 377. This route marker (photographed from two different perspectives - see next picture) faces traffic coming from Badlands National Park. S.D. 377 is a very short link road between the Badlands Loop (S.D. 240), which is the loop drive within the park, and S.D. 44, the main east-west road between Rapid City and the Pine Ridge Sioux Indian reservation. |

| South
Dakota State Highway 73 Shield. This is the typical square route marker South Dakota uses for state routes with two-digit numerical designations, which appear in Series “D” numerals. Unlike most other states with state-silhouette route markers, South Dakota puts its silhouette on a green field (which does not necessarily appear green in these pictures owing to an unfavourable lighting angle), and uses black text and green borders on all plates which relate to state routes. |
